Yesterday, DTEK has restored electricity to 6,000 families, left without electricity due to shelling in the Donetsk region
On May 21, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to perform repairs and restore power to 5 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 6,094 families in Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts. The majority – in the Bakhmut district.
Active hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. Massive shelling from almost all types of weapons continue to destroy energy infrastructure of the region. Residents of 281 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 88 days in a row and are doing everything possible in order to promptly restore power to settlements, affected by hostilities.
