Yesterday, DTEK has restored electricity to 7,700 families in the Donetsk region

On May 18, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to 11 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 7,700 households in the Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible.

Hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region, frequently causing damage of grids and equipment. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, on their part, are putting in their best effort to restore it: yesterday they have completely or partially restored power to 11 settlements, thus allowing restoration of electricity to homes of 7,708 families in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, Volnovakha and Kramatorsk districts. The majority – in the Pokrovsk district.

Residents of 281 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity due to hostilities. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where hostilities frequently cause damage of electrical equipment. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
