Over the course of 24 hours, DTEK has restored power to more than 6,000 families in the Donetsk region

Yesterday, despite escalation of hostilities in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have energized 23 settlements in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, Volnovakha and Kramatorsk districts of the Donetsk region. Service is restored to 6,452 families.

227 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka, where electrical equipment and power lines are being constantly damaged due to active hostilities. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
