The majority – in the Donetsk region, which remains the nexus of extremely difficult hostilities. Despite constant danger, energy workers managed to restore electricity to almost 203,000 homes of the region’s residents last week.

From June 29 to July 5, specialists in the Dnipropetrovsk region were able to restore power to 94,000 homes. The enemy is constantly attacking Dnipropetrovsk region, thus regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity.

During the same period, energy workers in the Kyiv region, in their turn, managed to restore power to 10,700 homes that were also de-energized due to enemy attacks.

During this period, energy workers in the capital, which the enemy continues to constantly attack, restored power to more than two hundred homes of Kyivans.

“The enemy continues its attacks, including the ones on our country’s energy system, almost non-stop. Despite everything – large-scale destruction of the energy system, security challenges and fatigue – we continue to work and restore electricity for as long as 1,594 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 47.3 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity in some settlements close to the combat zone on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

Energy workers of DTEK Grids DSO are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from AFU and SES.
