DTEK Donetsk Grids was able to restore electricity to more than 12,000 families yesterday

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 20 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to more than 12,000 families. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the frontline region in order to support residents of the Donetsk region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.
DTEK Donetsk Grids was able to restore electricity to more than 12,000 families yesterday

On May 17, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to access a number of grids damages and repair it, thus restoring power to 20 settlements, affected by hostilities. Electricity has been restored to homes of 12,252 families.

Hostilities in the Donetsk region are ongoing. Shelling continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages, demolishing energy infrastructure in particular. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 815 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
