DTEK Donetsk Grids was able to restore power supply to more than 40,000 homes yesterday

On June 6, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continued to repair damaged lines and equipment in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 40,000 families in 5 settlements of the frontline region, affected by enemy shelling. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continued to work, despite all security challenges. During this period, they managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 5 settlements, thus restoring power to 40,669 homes of residents of the Donetsk region. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult. The enemy continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 44 times yesterday. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military permit and have been working non-stop for 1,200 days now. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
