Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to access a number of damages, repair them and restore power to 2 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 2,753 households in Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts.

The majority of restorations were in Toretsk community, where energy workers, with the permission of the military, conduct works almost every day. They managed to restore power to more than 2,000 households here. Toretsk community is under constant shelling, as it is located near the buffer zone.

Besides, energy workers managed to conduct a number of repairs in Avdiivka and Marinka communities.

The enemy continues its offensive attempts in directions of Avdiivka and Bakhmut. These directions remain the most difficult – informed head of the Donetsk region Pavlo Kyrylenko. Massive shelling, missile strikes and air assaults raze towns and villages to the ground and continue to destroy energy infrastructure of the region.

Marinka and Toretsk directions remain difficult as well. 89 settlements of the region are still without electricity. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 203 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
