Electricity restored to 10,000 families: DTEK restored power supply after shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk region

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored operation of lines, damaged by shelling in the south of the region after yet another enemy attacks. Yesterday, electricity has been restored to homes of more than 10,000 families in 24 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The south of the Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer enemy shelling. The aggressor fires from artillery and launches kamikaze drones on a daily basis, regularly damaging grids and leaving residents without electricity.  

On April 4, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers managed to restore operation of the grids for 10,175 families in 24 settlements, whose homes were de-energized due to shelling the day before. Emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

Electricity is now fully restored to all affected districts.
