14 energy workers of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids received state awards from the Ministry of Energy for their contribution to providing Ukrainians with electricity during the war.

On the Energy Worker’s Day, 14 employees of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids received honors from the Ministry of Energy for their work in extreme conditions and ensuring integrity of the energy system during regular russian shelling. Besides, energy workers received 104 honorary distinctions from local authorities for their commitment to the cause and contribution to stable operation of the energy system.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, energy workers of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids have been working in extreme conditions, providing electricity to the residents of the Kyiv region. Energy workers of the company take active part in restoration of electricity after shelling, as well as prepare the energy system to going through the heating seasons in the conditions of war on a yearly basis, thus making it possible for Ukrainians in the region to work, study, maintain communication with loved ones, for doctors — to save lives, and for the business — to develop and reinforce the country’s economy.

Let us remind that, starting from February 24, 2022, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids restored more than 3,000 power facilities and repaired over 10,000 km of power lines in the Kyiv region. Since the beginning of 2024 alone, energy workers restored operation of 27 power facilities of various class of voltage.
