DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids paid 157 million hryvnias of taxes in 2025

DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids continues to provide residents of the Kyiv region with electricity, help the society and state, as well as fully and timely pays taxes to state and local budgets. In the first quarter of 2025, the company has already transferred 157 million hryvnias of taxes, and throughout 2024 – over 1.3 billion hryvnias. These funds play an important role in meeting financial needs of the Kyiv region and the country, especially during the full-scale war.

From January to March 2025, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids transferred 34 million hryvnas to local budgets, and 123 million hryvnias – to the central one. The government uses taxes paid to local and state budgets to finance recovery of houses, damaged by enemy attacks, reconstruction of schools, hospitals, construction of shelters, etc. 

Despite all challenges of wartime, we faithfully fulfil our obligations to the state paying all taxes in full scope, in particular. This is our contribution to development and protection of the region and the country. In 2024, the company paid over 1.3 billion hryvnias of taxes. At the same time, we continue to develop and upgrade the electrical infrastructure of the region. This year, we will allocate a total of over a billion hryvnias for these purposes. We are doing everything possible to ensure stable and comfortable life for the residents of the region,stated Vitalii Shaida, CEO at DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids. 

As previously reported, the company repaired and modernized over 9,500 kilometers of the overhead power lines, upgraded almost 2,000 power facilities, performed 852 repairs of cable lines and cleared over 4,000 kilometers of routes from brushwood, as part of preparation to the autumn-winter period. Thanks to these large-scale activities, it was possible to successfully go through the autumn-winter period and ensure reliable power supply to the residents of the Kyiv region.
