Electricity restored to 2,000 families: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues repairs of the grids after enemy attacks

Despite constant shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews continue to work and restore power supply, wherever possible. Yesterday, energy workers managed to restore power to 2 settlements of the region, thus restoring electricity to 2,000 homes. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the frontline region once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 2 settlements, de-energized due to enemy attacks, thus restoring electricity to 2,090 homes. 

Enemy attacks on peaceful towns and villages of the Donetsk region continue, including destruction of power facilities. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 23 times yesterday. 

Despite all security challenges, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop, repairing equipment and lines immediately once it becomes possible. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
