21,000 homes over the course of the week: DTEK Dnipro Grids restores electricity after attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region
Last week, enemy shelling once again caused massive power outages in the settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Over the course of seven days, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 21,187 families, whose homes were left without electricity. Yesterday alone, electricity was restored to more than 7,000 homes in 9 towns and villages of the region.
Restoration activities in the frontline zone are ongoing in the difficult conditions – shelling does not stop; number of drone attacks increases.
“Last week, there were several hits on power facilities, one repair vehicle was completely destroyed. Fortunately, there were no injuries to the personnel. Our crews continue their work upon permission of the military and SES to restore electricity to people as soon as possible,” – informed DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk.
