Energy workers of DTEK Dnipro Grids completed main activities related to restoration of power supply after severe weather that raged through the Dnipropetrovsk region. Over the course of more than a day of continuous work, electricity was restored to more than 36,000 homes in the region.

Heavy thunderstorm and wind gusts in the night of September 24 caused numerous trees and branches to fall on the power lines, thus leaving thousands of families in dozens of settlements of the region without electricity.

Energy workers began restoration activities at once. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews worked round-the-clock to restore power supply as quickly as possible.

As of Friday morning, energy workers restored operation of all medium voltage lines, affected by the storm. Elimination of individual accidents on 0.4 kV grids, where a lot of damages has also been registered, is currently ongoing. Specialists are working at full capacity and trying to complete all activities by the end of the day.
