37 power facilities are operating again: DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids energy workers continue to restore the grids after shelling in 2025
From January to June 2025, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids specialists managed to repair a total of 34 power lines with a length of over 362 km and 3 substations, transformer and distribution points after enemy attacks on the Kyiv region.
“Despite constant attacks, we do not stop. Our priority is to ensure that every Ukrainian has electricity at home. Over the half of the year, our energy workers restored power supply to almost 30,000 residents of the region*,” — noted DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids CEO Vitalii Shaida.
DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids repair crews commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the military and SES. Currently, 100% of all power facilities, which suffered destruction due to hostilities since February 24, 2022, have been repaired. Our energy workers are doing everything possible to provide electricity to every home.
