37 upgraded power facilities over six months: DTEK Grids DSO increased volumes of reconstruction and construction by 1.5 times
The volume of an investment program is annually approved by the state regulator NEURC for all Distribution Systems Operators. In parallel, DTEK Grids DSO repaired almost 2,000 km of overhead lines, 4,600 cable lines and almost 3,000 power facilities over the first half of 2026.
In order to reduce the risks of emergencies and ensure reliability of power supply to the families, specialists cleared 5,000 km of the overhead line routes from trees and brushwood.
“We continue to systematically upgrade the grids and improve their sustainability. Over the first half of the year, we increased the volumes of reconstruction and new construction of power facilities by 1.5 times in comparison to the previous year. In 2026, we plan to invest a total of more than UAH 6.7 bln in the upgrade of the grids. This will allow us to create a safety margin for the future heating season,” — noted DTEK Grids CEO Alina Bondarenko.
Repair and investment programs of DTEK Grids DSO are directed at improving reliability of power supply to the customers and preparing the girds for operation in the conditions of peak loads. At the same time, further development and modernization of the infrastructure create the required technical capacities for connection of new customers.
