77 power facilities are operating again: the scope of grids restorations after hostilities in 2025 have already exceeded last year’s — DTEK Odesa Grids
From January to June 2025, DTEK Odesa Grids specialists managed to repair a total of 60 power lines with a length of over 300 km and 17 transformer substations and distribution points after enemy attacks in the Odesa region.
“During the first six months of 2025 alone, the scope of grids, repaired after enemy attacks, has already exceeded the last year’s. Reliable power supply to homes of Ukrainians is our primary task in any circumstances. Thus, since the beginning of the year, we have already restored electricity to more than 315,000 Ukrainians*,” — noted Dmytro Hryhoriev, CEO at DTEK Odesa Grids.
DTEK Odesa Grids repair crews commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the military and the emergency service. Currently, 95% of all power facilities, which suffered destruction due to hostilities since February 24, 2022, have been repaired. The other 5% cannot be repaired yet due to the security situation and lack of required equipment.
Our energy workers are doing everything possible to provide electricity to every home.
