Attacks on power facilities: DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored electricity to 330,000 families over the course of the week
The enemy massively attacked energy infrastructure facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region last week. On the night of October 10, russian missile-drone attack caused de-energization of over 300 settlements, leaving almost 292,000 residents in Samar, Pavlohrad and Synelnykove districts, and in the city of Dnipro without electricity. Once the security situation allowed, energy workers began restoring power supply, energizing everyone over the course of the day.
In addition, FPV drones attacked DTEK Dnipro Grids power facility in one of the towns, close to the occupied territories, over the weekend. Fortunately, none of the employees were injured.
“Despite constant threat, we continue to work to provide electricity to the homes of residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Our specialists are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. Over the course of the week, they restored electricity to 329,535 homes that were de-energized due to the shelling,” – noted DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk.
