More energy to every home: over 2,500 customers of DTEK Grids DSO became prosumers in 2025

94% of all new prosumers reside in the Kyiv region – 1,570, which is already 39 “green” customers more than over the entire last year. Since the beginning of 2025, 444 new prosumers appeared in the Dnipropetrovsk region, 410 – in the Odesa region, and 110 – in the capital.  

At the same time, 135 legal customers of DTEK Grids DSO connected “green” and distributed power generation facilities over the period from January to August this year. Including three industrial SPPs. 

“Every new renewable energy facility is a contribution to the stability of the Ukrainian energy system in the conditions of war. Therefore, in addition to repairing the grids after the damage caused by hostilities, our energy workers are also upgrading energy equipment, making it possible for the electrical infrastructure to integrate more “green” and distributed power generation,” – stressed DTEK Grids CEO Alina Bondarenko. 

Since the start of their activities in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk regions and in the capital, DTEK Grids Distribution Systems Operators have already connected a total of more than 21,500 renewable energy facilities.
