The fight for light continues: DTEK restored electricity to more than 260,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region in March

Over the past month, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews restored power to more than 260,000 homes in the region that were without electricity due to the damage of lines and power facilities by shelling. Specialists commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The enemy continues systematic attacks on civil and power facilities of the Dnipropetrovsk region. In March, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 260,206 families in the region, whose homes were de-energized due to daily shelling. Last week alone, electricity has been restored to more than 16,000 homes. 

Emergency crews commence repairs of the grid after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, energy workers have restored electricity to a total of more than 3.7 mln households in the Dnipropetrovsk region*.
