DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to 54,000 families in the Donetsk region over the course of two days
On September 28-29, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to 12 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 54,428 families in the frontline region.
Shelling of the Donetsk region continues. According to the Donetsk RMA, Kostiantynivka suffered two air strikes – again, missile attack and artillery shelling. While Lyman community was shelled 20 times by the enemy. Other settlements of the region are under fire as well.
Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 113 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 583 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. About 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
