DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power to more than 8,000 families over the course of a day
Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have completely or partially restored power to 9 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 8,448 families in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Volnovakha districts.
The majority of yesterday repairs were carried out in Bakhmut district, which remains an arena of severe fighting, as it is one of the main directions for the enemy. Energy workers, with the permission of the military, were able to repair a number of damages and restore electricity to homes of more than 5,000 families in Bakhmut community and almost 2,000 families in Toretsk community. Additionally, power has been restored to more than a thousand families in Velyka Novosilka community. Specialists of the energy company also managed to complete repairs in Marinka and Kostiantynivka communities.
Shelling is underway in the Donetsk region. The enemy continues attempts of its offensive. The most difficult directions are Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk and Marinka.
84 settlements of the region remain without electricity. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
