DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to almost 25,000 families in 19 settlements over the course of the day

On July 13, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have restored electricity to 19 settlements, despite shelling, thus restoring power to homes of almost 25,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 19 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling of the region, thus restoring access to power supply for 24,915 families.

Active fighting continues in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy keeps concentrating main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Kupiansk directions, where about 30 clashes took place over the course of the day.

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 111 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 506 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
