DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 2,000 families yesterday

On October 14, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, were able to access a number of grids damages, caused by shelling, and repair it, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 2,000 families in the frontline region. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, despite constant shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to access a number of damaged energy equipment and restore its operation, thus restoring electricity to 2,257 families. 

The enemy continues to attack peaceful towns and villages in the Donetsk region. Shelling and destructions continue, including destruction of the energy infrastructure. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military allow and are working non-stop for 965 days in a row. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
