DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 21,000 families yesterday

Over the course of the day, August 4, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of repairs and restore power to residents of 4 settlements, affected by constant shelling of the region, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 21,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore electricity once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the Donetsk region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to residents of 4 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 21,720 families in the Donetsk region. 

The situation remains difficult in the Donetsk region. According to the General Staff of the AFU, areas of Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, Markove, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, New York and Krasnohorivka were hit by air strikes yesterday. Heavy artillery shelling of the region continues as well. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 110 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
