DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 23,000 families over the course of 4 days
From July 31 to August 3, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to residents of 78 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 23,166 families in the Donetsk region.
The situation remains difficult in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, areas of Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Druzhba, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Makarivka, and Rivnopole were hit by air strikes yesterday. Artillery shelling of the region continues as well.
Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 111 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 527 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
