For precise calculations: DTEK Dnipro Grids offers businesses a comprehensive verification of the metering unit

Verification of the electricity metering unit is an important step for precise calculation of the consumed electricity and stable operation of electrical installation. DTEK Dnipro Grids provides a comprehensive solution to its business customers – a Precision Metering Line service that includes all required works.
For precise calculations: DTEK Dnipro Grids offers businesses a comprehensive verification of the metering unit

The Precision Metering Line service will be useful for industrial and agricultural enterprises, property developers, budget organizations, condominium co-owners associations and other customers using electricity metering devices (current transformers, voltage transformers and meters). In accordance with the law*, proper operation of electrical equipment requires verification of the electricity metering unit at least once in 5 years.

To simplify this procedure for the legal customers, DTEK Dnipro Grids developed a comprehensive solution, which includes:

  • unsealing and sealing of the metering units,
  • technical check of proper operation of the electricity metering point
  • checking equipment compliance with the factory parameters,
  • verification of current and voltage transformers directly at the customer’s site.

The duration of verification becomes twice shorter it takes not more than 14 working days. For reference: in case of cooperating with the contractors, verification is usually split into three separate stages, which may possibly extend the duration to 21–43 calendar days.

Additionally, equipment remains energized during work performance, thus, the company’s work does not stop.

You can learn more about the Precise Metering Line service and place a request at the DTEK Dnipro Grids website.

* The periodicity of verification is determined by the order of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine No. 1747 dated 13.10.2016, registered at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 01.11.2016 as No. 1417/29547
