DTEK Dnipro Grids has restored electricity to another 1,600 families in Nikopol district

On October 5, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have restored power to 3 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were shelled the day before. Electricity has been restored to homes of 1,574 families in Nikopol district that were de-energized due to the damaged grids. Our specialists commence work immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The situation remains intense in the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Settlements are frequently shelled, leaving its residents without electricity. The most difficult direction remains Nikopol district that suffers from massive enemy attacks every day.

Despite the threat from invaders, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews promptly repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The work is conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. Yesterday, energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 1,574 families in 3 settlements of Nikopol district that were de-energized due to shelling the day before.

Last night, russians were once again actively firing on the Nikopol district. Shelling has damaged lines in Myrove community. 960 households remain without electricity. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity to residents as soon as possible. The work will be conducted once our specialists obtain a permit from the military and SES.
