DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity to residents of a shelled settlement

On March 8, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists have restored electricity to homes of more than 5,800 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region, left without electricity due to the enemy shelling. Despite the difficult situation with hostilities, energy workers continue to repair grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The intensity of shelling remains high in the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Over the course of a day, the enemy has repeatedly attacked Nikopol and Marhanets communities, damaging electrical infrastructure in one of the settlements and leaving its residents without electricity.

DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists started repairing the damaged grid immediately after obtaining permits for works performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Electricity has been restored to 5,863 families in the region.
