DTEK Dnipro Grids restored service to 67 settlements that were left without power after storm

DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers are still eliminating the consequences of storm that caused massive outages across the region. As of 5:00PM of July 21, 50 lines and 428 transformer substations resumed operation. Electricity supply was restored to 41 villages that lost power completely, and 22 that lost power partially. Now the crews are completing the recovery work and getting ready for a new wave of rough weather.

The weather in Dnipropetrovsk Region got worse again on the evening of July 20. Gusty winds, downpours and thunderstorms left 80 settlements without power. The emergency crews have restored power to most areas. Now, 20,000 customers of Kryvyi Rih and other areas affected by the weather have their lights on again.

There are still 5 settlements without electricity in the region, and 8 more have no power partially. 10 medium voltage power lines and 185 transformer substations are still de-energized because of thunderstorm and gusts of wind
