DTEK Dnipro Grids restored service to 67 settlements that were left without power after storm
The weather in Dnipropetrovsk Region got worse again on the evening of July 20. Gusty winds, downpours and thunderstorms left 80 settlements without power. The emergency crews have restored power to most areas. Now, 20,000 customers of Kryvyi Rih and other areas affected by the weather have their lights on again.
There are still 5 settlements without electricity in the region, and 8 more have no power partially. 10 medium voltage power lines and 185 transformer substations are still de-energized because of thunderstorm and gusts of wind
DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews are still on full alert and work 24/7 to bring power back to customers' homes as quickly as possible. According to weather forecasters, strong winds, showers, and thunderstorms are expected at least until July 22. So, the energy workers are getting ready for new weather challenges.
