Light despite the attacks: DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored power supply to 595,000 families in December

Energy workers in the Dnipropetrovsk region continue restoring electricity after enemy strikes. In December, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 595,106 families, whose homes were de-energized due to the attacks. Last week alone, electricity was restored to more than 84,000 homes.

Despite almost daily attacks on power facilities, our specialists are doing everything to provide electricity to the homes of the region’s residents. We commence repairs immediately after obtaining permissions and access to the sites of damage to provide people and critical infrastructure with electricity even in these difficult conditions. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, energy workers of DTEK Dnipro Grids have already restored electricity to more than 7* mln homes and continue maintaining power supply in the region,” ‒ noted DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk.

Work in the frontline districts is complicated due to constant threat of repeated attacks and limited access to the sites of damage. Nevertheless, energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
