DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity to 58 settlements, de-energized by shelling

Yesterday, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored power to more than 14,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region, whose homes were de-energized due to the enemy attacks. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for the normal life of the region’s residents.

The enemy continues to attack the energy infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region. At about 15:00 yesterday, one of the russian strikes caused power outage in 52 settlements of the region, leaving more than 9,000 homes without electricity.  

DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists commenced restoration activities once the security situation allowed. As soon as 16:50, electricity was restored to all consumers. 

Over the course of the day, energy workers restored electricity to a total of 14,239 homes in 58 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region, affected by shelling. 

As of the morning of November 5, over 22,000 homes remain without electricity – energy workers continue to work to restore power supply to all residents as soon as possible. 

Emergency crews commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
