DTEK Dnipro Grids restored power supply to 117,000 families after the storm
Since yesterday, bad weather - storm and squall wind – has been raging in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews worked round-the-clock to restore electricity to homes as soon as possible. By morning, energy workers restored operation of 109 power lines and more than 3,500 transformer substations.
Nearly 4,600 homes currently remain without electricity: 28 settlements have been de-energized completely, another 23 - partially.
Despite difficult weather conditions, energy workers continue to work 24/7 to restore power supply to all customers as soon as possible and promptly eliminate new damages that occur due to bad weather.
33 emergency crews have been engaged –100 employees and 37 items of special machinery. Restoration activities will continue until power supply is fully restored to all affected communities.
Let us remind that strong gusts of wind may cause trees to fall and broken wires. Please be careful, follow safety rules and do not approach the power lines.
