Thermal power generation19 September 2025
On September 18, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored electricity to almost 5,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region, de-energized due to the shelling. Despite the threat, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for the normal life of the region’s residents.

The enemy continues to strike at the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing power outages for homes and critical facilities. Despite constant danger, energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.

Yesterday, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to homes of 4,959 families in 32 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region that suffered enemy attacks.

As of the morning, another 9,800 homes remain without electricity in the region. Restoration activities in the frontline zone are complicated due to the security situation. Nevertheless, energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply to every home as soon as possible.
