DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity after shelling to 1,400 families

Over the course of the day, August 5, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 5 settlements in the south of the region that were attacked by the enemy, thus restoring electricity to homes of almost 1,400 families. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The enemy attacked south of the Dnipropetrovsk region with kamikaze drones and artillery over a dozen times yesterday. The shelling damaged several power facilities and de-energized 1,372 families in 5 settlements. 

Immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the AFU and SES, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers promptly carried out inspection and repair of lines and equipment. Over the course of the day, power supply has been restored to all residents.
