DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 7,000 families over the course of 2 days

On April 6 and 7, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to 19 settlements, de-energized due to shelling of the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to almost 7,000 families. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have conducted repairs of a number of damages, thus restoring power to the homes of residents of 19 settlements. Electricity has been restored to 6,974 families.

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to focus on the offensive in Bakhmut, Lyman, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, where over 60 enemy attacks have been repelled yesterday.

Due to constant damage of the grids and inability to repair some of them, 107 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 409 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
