DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to almost 130,000 families in March
Massive shelling of the Donetsk region, as well as missile and air attacks continued in March, causing damage to the energy infrastructure on a daily basis. Last month, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to residents of 183 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of 129,891 families.
Including last week, when specialists of the energy company have restored electricity to 15,500 families in 24 settlements of the Donetsk region.
The situation with shelling remains very difficult in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy concentrates main efforts on conducting offensives in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka remain in the epicenter of hostilities.
Due to constant shelling, 117 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
