DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 53,000 families over the course of a week

Large-scale enemy shelling of the Donetsk region continued last week. Over this period of time, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 97 settlements, thus restoring power to homes of 53,396 families. 

This weekend alone, energy workers managed to restore power to 10,200 families in 20 settlements. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. Due to constant shelling, specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 803 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. In April alone, energy workers restored electricity to homes of 199,000 families.
