DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 73,700 homes last week

From May 12 to 18, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids and equipment damages and restore electricity to residents of 65 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for 73,700 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible
DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 73,700 homes last week

Despite fierce fighting in the region and constant shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 65 settlements over the past week, thus restoring access to electricity for 73,778 families in the Donetsk region.

In particular, energy workers managed to restore power to 7,400 homes in 11 settlements over the weekend alone.

Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Damage of the energy infrastructure continues. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Work in the Donetsk region becomes more and more dangerous. Nevertheless, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,181 days and repairing equipment and lines immediately once it becomes possible
