DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to homes of more than 17,000 families over the course of two days

On July 1 and 2, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, conducted a number of grid repairs and restored electricity to residents of 11 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of more than 17,000 families. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the frontline region once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Over the past two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 11 settlements, de-energized by shelling, thus restoring electricity to 17,255 homes.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. The enemy continues to shell the region with artillery, launch missile and air strikes. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 26 times yesterday.

Constant shelling, missile and air strikes continue to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
