DTEK Donetsk Grids brings back light: power supply restored to 20,500 homes

Despite an extremely difficult security situation in the Donetsk region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 6 settlements, de-energized by enemy attacks, thus restoring electricity to homes of 20,500 families of local residents yesterday. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the region once it becomes possible and the military provides permission for work performance.

The fiercest battles are ongoing in the Donetsk region. Despite all the difficulties, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency crews managed to conduct repairs in 6 settlements of the region yesterday, thus restoring power to 20,511 families, whose homes were de-energized due to the shelling.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,266 days in a row and continue restoration once the situation and the military permit. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
