On February 5, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to access a number of girds and equipment damages and repair it, thus restoring electricity to homes of almost 9,000 families, whose homes were de-energized due to the shelling. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore power to 1 settlement, affected by constant shelling of the region, thus restoring electricity to 8,825 families.

Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. Constant shelling damages grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 713 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. More than 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
