DTEK Donetsk Grids continues repairs of the grids: electricity restored to 7,500 families

On January 22, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to 11 settlements, affected by active hostilities in the region, thus restoring electricity to 7,554 families. 

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy continues shelling of the region. In particular, Kramatorsk was hit by a missile strike. 

Constant shelling damages grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 699 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. More than 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
