DTEK Donetsk Grids continues repairs of the grids: electricity restored to 7,000 families

On January 8, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 9 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of 7,066 families.

Due to constant shelling the situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the National Police, six settlements of the region have been shelled yesterday. In particular, Pokrovsk suffered 3 missile strikes.

Active hostilities in the Donetsk region constantly damage grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 685 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. More than 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
