DTEK Donetsk Grids continues equipment repairs: electricity restored to 2,200 homes

On August 21, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continued to work, despite already constant danger. Upon permission of the military, they managed to repair a number of grid and equipment damages, thus restoring electricity to 2,200 homes. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the region once it becomes possible and the military provides permission for work performance.

The enemy continues to incessantly shell the Donetsk region, causing power outages in towns and villages of the region. Energy workers continue to incessantly repair the damage, wherever possible, as well. In particular, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to 31 settlements in the frontline Donetsk region yesterday, thus energizing homes of 13,613 families of local residents. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,276 days in a row and repairing equipment and lines immediately once it is possible. The work of the energy workers still remains dangerous: according to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 26 times yesterday.
