DTEK Donetsk Grids continues to repair the grids after shelling: electricity has been restored to more than 18,000 families
Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 25 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 18,458 families in the frontline Donetsk region.
According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, shelling of the region continued yesterday.
Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 113 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 539 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
