DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to 8 settlements, de-energized by shelling

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists repaired a number of grid damages, caused by shelling, and restored electricity to residents of 8 settlements of the Donetsk region, which constantly suffers from consequences of hostilities. Power supply has been restored to 2,197 families. 

Donetsk region continues to be subjected to artillery shelling, missile, drone and air strikes. In particular, according to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy strike on Kostiantynivka killed 14 and wounded 40 people yesterday. 

Shelling of the Donetsk region is ongoing and continues to destroy grids and equipment. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 899 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
