DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power to another 2,700 families

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to repair a number of grids damages, making it possible to completely or partially restore electricity to 4 settlements, de-energized due to shelling. Power has now been restored to 2,735 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, shelling continues. In particular, Lyman community was shelled 16 times yesterday, Kurakhove community – 5 times. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 113 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 499 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
