DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to 10,300 homes over the course of the day

On May 13, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, were able to access a number of damages and repair it, thus restoring electricity to 6 settlements of the Donetsk region. Power has been restored to 10,367 families.

Hostilities in the Donetsk region are ongoing. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled peaceful settlements of the Donetsk region 11 times yesterday.

The ongoing shelling continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages, demolishing energy infrastructure in particular. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 811 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
