Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 21 settlements, de-energized due to shelling

Despite active hostilities in the region, yesterday DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of repairs and restore power to 21 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 19,500 homes of local residents. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the Donetsk region in order to support residents of the frontline region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore power to 21 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 19,548 families. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of active fighting. According to National Police, the invaders carried out 21 attacks on civil population of the region over the course of the day. In particular, Selydove alone suffered two missile strikes over the course of the day. 

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy system of the region. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 722 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
