DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 3,000 homes over the course of the day

On January 4, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to access a number of grids damages and repair it, thus restoring power to 6 settlements. Electricity has been restored to homes of almost 3,000 residents of the frontline region. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore power to homes of residents of 6 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring access to electricity for 2,855 families. 

Shelling in the Donetsk region does not subside. Air and missile strikes continue. In particular, Myrnohrad suffered 6 air strikes yesterday. Other communities of the region are under fire too. 

Hostilities in the Donetsk region constantly damage grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 681 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. More than 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
